The launch of the Mevlanakapı Children's Library and Workshop Center project, aimed at increasing social interaction with the regions where TÜRGEV's homes are located, has been held.
The project, which took place with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency and in partnership with Ibn Khaldun University and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, was introduced to the public by our Chairman of the Board, Assoc. Dr. Fatmanur Altun.
Speaking about the reason for the project's emergence, Altun stated, "We aimed to build not only a library but also a development and support center in this project, which we hope will be a hopeful step for children aged 0-12 and their families living in Istanbul. In this center, we aimed to provide all the necessary opportunities for our children to discover, develop their talents, and grow as healthy individuals."
While mentioning that the center also organizes seminars, workshops, and events for parents, she emphasized that more than double the project's target has been served so far. Altun thanked the students who contributed to the project for their dedication and noted that positive feedback has been received, especially from the residents of Mevlanakapı Neighborhood.
The launch, which was inspired by our children, was also attended by the Governor of Istanbul, Mr. Davul Gül.
The Mevlanakapı Children's Library and Workshop Center will continue its activities by providing thematic guidance for children, various intelligence and developmental test applications, workshops, informational activities for parents, social activities, and psychological support services.
We would like to express our happiness in seeing you at the Mevlanakapı Children's Library and Workshop Center and hope that our project brings blessings to our nation.
