Basic Support Accommodation Scholarship for Secondary Education
The Basic Support Secondary Education Scholarship is an accommodation scholarship. A dormitory application must be submitted before applying for this type of scholarship. Applications for the accommodation scholarship submitted prior to the dormitory application will not be accepted.
Students enrolled in a public school or attending a private school on a full scholarship at the secondary education level are eligible to apply for the Basic Support Scholarship.

Basic Support Scholarship Application Documents
Residence certificate showing the address where the student and their family reside
“Detailed Population Registration Sample” obtained from the civil registry office or via the e-Government portal
If the student has siblings currently in education, their student certificates obtained from their schools or via e-Government
If the student is receiving scholarships from other institutions, documentation proving such support
Regarding income declaration:
For the student’s mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, siblings and/or the student who earn income and live in the same household: a certified payroll or salary statement covering the past year
(For those who have changed jobs or recently started working, SGK [Social Security Institution] Service Records for the past year must also be obtained via e-Government)
For family members who are tradespeople, farmers, industrialists, freelancers, or artisans: a copy of the Income Tax Return and Tax Certificate
For unemployed adults in the household: a document from SGK or e-Government showing their unemployment status
For family members who own real estate: documents showing ownership details including share information, location, and size; if no property is owned, a certificate of non-ownership must be obtained via e-Government
(To obtain: Visit https://www.turkiye.gov.tr, go to “General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre – Title Deed Information Inquiry,” click “Print,” and save as PDF. The document must include the individual’s full name and Turkish ID number)
For family members who own motor vehicles: documents showing the brand and model; if not, a certificate of non-ownership obtained via e-Government
(To obtain: Visit https://www.turkiye.gov.tr, go to “Union of Turkish Notaries – Vehicle Inquiry Registered to My Name,” click “Print,” and save as PDF. The document must include the individual’s full name and Turkish ID number)
For retirees in the household: a certified document from SGK showing pension amounts, or monthly pension bank statements/account summary or a “Pension Information” document from e-Government
For family members in tax-exempt professions: a certified copy of their Tax Exemption Certificate from the Tax Office
If the household residence is rented: a copy of the rental agreement; if in public housing: the public housing certificate; if owned: a title deed document from e-Government (see 5d); if not visible on e-Government, a copy of the official title deed
If the house is under mortgage: related bank documents
Documents supporting additional expenses indicated in the Preliminary Application Form (e.g., health, education, etc.)
In the case of bankruptcy: official documentation; if there are significant debts: supporting documents
(For bank debts, a Risk Center Report from the Banks Association of Turkey must be obtained via e-Government)
