Special Support (Need-Based) Secondary Education Accommodation Scholarship
You must apply for dormitory accommodation before applying for this type of scholarship. Applications for the accommodation scholarship submitted before applying for dormitory accommodation will not be accepted.
The Special Support (Need-Based) Scholarship is open to students who meet the specific conditions outlined in the TÜRGEV Scholarship Guidelines.

Special Support Scholarship Application Documents
Residence certificate showing the place of residence of the family the student lives with
“Detailed Population Registration Record” to be obtained from the relevant population directorate or via e-Government
If the student has siblings who are studying, student certificates to be obtained from their schools or via e-Government
If the student receives a scholarship from another institution/organizations, a document showing this scholarship
Regarding income declaration:
For the mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, siblings and/or students living in the same household and earning income: an approved payroll or wage slip from their workplace (1 year). For those who have changed jobs or recently started working, SGK Service Records from e-Government for the last year must be attached.
For the mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, siblings and/or students living in the same household and engaged in trade, agriculture, industry, freelance or self-employment: a photocopy of the Income Tax Return and the Tax Plate.
For adults in the household who are not employed: a document from the Social Security Institution or e-Government showing their status.
For the mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, siblings and/or students living in the same household who own real estate: documents showing the share information, location, and size; if not, a document from e-Government proving no registered property.
(Documents should be obtained by logging into https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/ with an e-Government password, going to the “General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre Title Deed Information Inquiry” screen, clicking “Print,” and saving as PDF with “Destination: Save as PDF” selected. It must include the name-surname and ID number.)
For the mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, siblings and/or students living in the same household who own motor vehicles: documents showing the brand and model information; if not, a document from e-Government proving no registered vehicles.
(Documents should be obtained by logging into https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/ with an e-Government password, going to the “Union of Turkish Public Notaries Vehicle Inquiry Registered in My Name” screen, clicking “Print,” and saving as PDF with “Destination: Save as PDF” selected. It must include the name-surname and ID number.)
For retirees in the household: an approved document from the Social Security Institution showing their pension, a bank statement or account book copy showing their monthly pension, or a Retirement Pension Information document from e-Government
For those engaged in professions exempt from tax: a certified copy of the Tax Exemption Certificate obtained from the Tax Office
If the house is rented: a copy of the rental contract; if it is a public housing (lojman), a public housing certificate; if it is owned, the e-Government document (see 5d), or if the property does not appear in e-Government, the Title Deed document
If the house is under mortgage: relevant bank documents
Documents supporting other expenses stated in the Preliminary Application Form (health, education, etc.)
In case of bankruptcy: relevant documents; if there is a high amount of debt: relevant documents (for bank debts, the Risk Center Report from the Banks Association of Turkey must be obtained via e-Government)
For Special Support Scholarships:
For martyrs’ and veterans’ families: a document from the Social Security Institution
For those who have stayed in childcare institutions or completed their high school or equivalent education while staying in orphanages affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies: a document from the General Directorate of Child Services of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies
If the applicant and/or their family members have a high degree of disability: a report from a fully equipped hospital indicating their condition
If the applicant or family members have migrated to our country due to forced migration: a document from the relevant Ministry and/or state authority indicating their situation
