Special Support Secondary Education Scholarship
Students who meet the specific conditions outlined in the TÜRGEV Scholarship Directive may apply for the Special Support (Need-Based) Scholarship.
Each TÜRGEV scholarship has general and specific eligibility criteria depending on the type of scholarship requested. For more detailed information, please refer to the TÜRGEV Scholarship Directive.
Students who meet the specific conditions stated in the TÜRGEV Scholarship Directive are eligible to apply for the Special Support (Need-Based) Scholarship.

Special Support Scholarship Application Documents
Residence certificate showing the address of the applicant’s family with whom they live
"Detailed Population Registration Sample" from the Civil Registry Office or obtained via e-Government
If the applicant has siblings who are currently studying, their student certificates obtained from their schools or through e-Government
If the applicant receives scholarships from other institutions, official documentation proving such support
Regarding income declaration:
For parents, grandparents, siblings, and/or students living in the same household who are employed: an officially approved payroll or salary slip covering one year (for those who have changed jobs or started new jobs, SGK [Social Security Institution] Service Records for the past year must also be provided via e-Government)
For those in the same household who are tradespeople, farmers, industrialists, freelancers, or artisans: copies of the Income Tax Return and Tax Certificate
For unemployed adults in the same household: a document from SGK or obtained via e-Government confirming their employment status
For real estate owned by family members in the household: documents showing ownership details, including shares, location, and size. If no property is owned, a certificate of no ownership from e-Government must be provided
(To access: Log in to https://www.turkiye.gov.tr, go to the “General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre - Title Deed Information Inquiry” screen, click “Print,” select “Save as PDF.” The file must include full name and National ID number.)
For motor vehicles registered to family members in the household: a document showing make and model. If no vehicles are registered, a certificate of non-ownership must be obtained from e-Government

For retired individuals in the household: an official document from SGK showing pension details, monthly pension bank statements, account book copies, or “Pension Information” from e-Government
For those in professions exempt from tax: a certified copy of the Tax Exemption Certificate from the Tax Office
If the household residence is rented: a copy of the rental agreement; if in public housing: the public housing document; if owned: a document from e-Government (see item 5d); if not visible on e-Government: the Title Deed
If the household residence has a mortgage/loan: relevant documents from the bank
Supporting documents for other expenses mentioned in the Preliminary Application Form (e.g., health, education, etc.)
In case of bankruptcy: relevant court or financial documents; for significant debts: official documents (e.g., Turkey Banks Association Risk Center Report from e-Government for bank debts)
For Special Support Scholarships (where applicable):
For children of martyrs and veterans: document from the Social Security Institution
For those who stayed in child care institutions or completed their high school education in shelters affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services: a document from the General Directorate of Child Services
If the applicant or family members have a high level of disability: a medical report from a fully equipped hospital
If the applicant or family members have sought refuge in Türkiye due to forced migration: an official document from the relevant Ministry and/or state institution showing their status
