The TÜRGEV Platform Studies Coordination Unit is an educational program operating within the Education Department, aiming to help TÜRGEV students develop discourse in the public sphere.
The Platform Studies Coordination Unit aims to support students in engaging in productive activities within their universities and institutions in their fields, while also providing academic and logistical support.
Platform Studies guides students to take part in activities such as conducting research, developing projects, and publishing within their areas of interest. In addition to this guidance, it also contributes to their academic development through various educational activities.
Platform Studies National Student Congress
In its first year, the Platform Studies National Student Congress was held on October 22–23, 2020, under the theme “The Future.” Presentations at the congress sought to answer questions about the future through the perspectives of different disciplines such as medicine, technology, economics, and Islamic sciences. The event, featuring an opening speech by Dr. Fatmanur Altun and moderated by Oktay Altındiş, was broadcast live on YouTube and Twitter.
The second congress was held online on July 8–9, 2021, where current questions and issues from a wide range of disciplines including media, medicine, psychology, sociology, technology, and urban planning were discussed and evaluated.
