At TÜRGEV, we believe that young people grow not only through formal education but also by exploring the world, discovering new cultures, and embracing volunteerism.
That’s why, within the scope of Erasmus+ Days, we hosted “TÜRGEV Erasmus+ Days – Sharing Experiences and Erasmus+ Opportunities,” bringing together young people eager to discover Europe through the Erasmus+ Programme’s educational, cultural, and volunteering projects.
Held on October 15, 2025, at our Güzel İşler Fabrikası (GİF) Safvetipaşa Campus in Istanbul’s Fatih district, the event became a truly inspiring day filled with connection, learning, and hope.
Throughout the day, TÜRGEV volunteers who had previously taken part in Erasmus+ mobility and volunteering programs in Europe shared their experiences with participants.
They spoke about their journeys abroad, the challenges they faced, and the personal growth they experienced.
Every story echoed a common message:
The event also welcomed Erol Öztemur, President of the Social Kumbara Association, as a guest speaker.
Moderated by Ayşe Gizem Özcan, the sessions combined knowledge and inspiration.
At the end of the day, the winner of the Kahoot competition earned the opportunity to join a TÜRGEV-supported Erasmus+ volunteering experience in Europe — an exciting next step toward a global perspective.
We didn’t just listen — we created together!
During the woodblock printing workshop, participants designed their own handcrafted works, expressing creativity and cultural identity.
The event concluded with surprise gifts and unforgettable memories that brought joy to everyone involved.
For us, the highlight of this Erasmus+ event was the spark in every young participant’s eyes — a spark of curiosity and courage, ready to take the first step toward an international adventure.
For many years, TÜRGEV has been actively supporting young people in engaging with the international community.

Through our TÜRGEV Erasmus+ Days, we aim to help more young people discover these Erasmus+ opportunities, develop cross-cultural awareness, and contribute to Turkey’s active role in European youth mobility.
