With the support of the Turkish National Agency, we carried out the Erasmus project titled Digital Transformation for Education.
During the mobility program, which brought together 15 youth workers from Finland and 15 from Türkiye, participants had the opportunity to explore the potential impact of digital transformation on education and to experience various aspects of technology-driven learning.
In the Finland phase of the project, participants from Türkiye received training on effective digital assessment, feedback tools and examples, as well as the benefits of digital evaluation and feedback. They learned from the experiences of those familiar with the Finnish education system. The program included a technical visit to Arcada University of Applied Sciences, a cultural exploration on Suomenlinna Island, and a visit to the National Library of Finland, where participants experienced digital workspaces.
In the Türkiye phase, 15 participants from Finland visited various institutions in Istanbul and attended seminars on digital transformation in education. Prof. Dr. Filiz Aydoğan conducted a two-day workshop offering in-depth discussions on how digital transformation can be integrated into the Turkish education system. Participants also visited institutions such as the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), Palet Schools, Eyüpsultan Municipality, Sabancı University Digital Campus, and Rami Library, where they experienced different digital working environments.
