We contributed to the professional and personal development of our young people who aspire to improve themselves in the field of digital game entrepreneurship!
The SOCIAWARE Digital Game Development and Personal Development Camp, partnered by TÜRGEV, supported by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye’s Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society, and coordinated by EGADER, was designed to contribute to the professional and personal development of young people seeking to advance themselves in the field of digital game entrepreneurship.
The project focused on equipping disadvantaged youth with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to compete in the gaming market. Comprehensive training sessions on game production, design, art, and development processes aimed to uncover the creative potential of young participants and provide them with the resources to realize their own projects in the gaming industry.
The project coordinator and partner institutions carefully designed the training program to ensure that the 30 selected participants could gain in-depth knowledge of the digital gaming sector and acquire hands-on experience. Delivered in collaboration with specialized industry representatives such as Bahçeşehir University’s Game Lab (BUG Lab), the training content focused on providing the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for success in the sector.
The target group consisted of disadvantaged youth aged 18–30 who have career aspirations in digital game entrepreneurship. This included individuals interested in acquiring knowledge in areas such as game design, game art, and game development, and who are eager to develop themselves in the digital gaming sector. The project specifically addressed the needs of young people wishing to discover and nurture their talents in this field but facing challenges in accessing resources and guidance.
