TÜRGEV is carrying environmental awareness into the future together with young people. Within the scope of the Memorial Forest Project, 20,615 saplings were planted, bringing breath to nature and hope for tomorrow.

As TÜRGEV, we contribute to Türkiye’s environmentally friendly policies and its fight against climate change. Within the scope of the Memorial Forest Project implemented over the past five years, we have planted 20,615 saplings. Each sapling not only breathes life into nature but also symbolizes a living legacy to be passed on to future generations.
Environmental Awareness Flourishing with Youth
The Memorial Forest is not only about greening nature again; it also strengthens our young people’s sense of environmental responsibility. With the contributions of our volunteers on the ground, we are collectively growing an exemplary social movement that supports sustainable development.
Hope Sprouting Again in Fire Damaged Areas
We particularly direct our planting efforts to regions damaged by forest fires. In this way, we help nature recover while reinforcing our young people’s ecological awareness. At the ceremony held in Çekmeköy, our young volunteers and foundation leaders placed the commemorative plaque for the Memorial Forest together, crowning this shared legacy.

During the ceremony, our leaders shared the following message: “Together with our youth, we are working for a green homeland. Each sapling is a symbol of resilience in the fight against drought and a living legacy entrusted to the future.”
Global Alignment in Sustainability
Our approach, which combines education with environmental awareness, has been found to be in harmony with the sustainability criteria of international organizations such as the United Nations, FAO, and WWF. At TÜRGEV, we see the Memorial Forest as just a beginning and aim to implement many more green projects under the leadership of our youth.
