Established under the leadership of the Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation (TÜRGEV), TURKEN Foundation provides a high-quality living and development environment for Turkish youth in the United States. Located in the heart of Manhattan, New York, the student residence offers not only accommodation but also comprehensive opportunities that foster cultural exchange, academic growth, and personal development.
A Safe and Well-Equipped Living Space for 204 Students
The dormitory comprises a total of 80 apartments, including 56 studios, 22 two-bedroom units, and 2 one-bedroom units. It accommodates 204 students—102 female and 102 male—and features a range of facilities to support both social and academic life. Common kitchens, prayer rooms, laundry facilities, study areas for individual and group work, fitness rooms, and a multi-purpose conference hall are all available for student use.
Security is ensured at the highest level with a 24-hour active camera system and card access control. These features allow students to feel safe while pursuing opportunities for self-development.
Youth Opening to Global Horizons
Students residing at TURKEN House continue their undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, New York University (NYU), and Fordham University. The residence also serves as a development hub for English language learners, researchers, and professionals from various fields.
Career seminars, cultural workshops, and personal development programs held in the conference hall support not only the students’ academic achievements but also their social and professional skills.
