TÜRGEV is carrying environmental awareness into the future together with young people. Within the scope of the Memorial Forest Project, 20,615 saplings were planted, bringing breath to nature and hope for tomorrow.

We at TÜRGEV are contributing to Turkiye’s environmentally friendly policies and its fight against climate change. Within the scope of the Memorial Forest Project that we have implemented over the past five years, we have brought 21,115 saplings together with the soil. Each sapling both gives the environment a breath of life and symbolizes a living legacy that we will pass on to future generations.
Growing Environmental Awareness with Youth
The Memorial Forest does not only help nature flourish again. It also strengthens our young people’s sense of environmental responsibility. With the on site contributions of our volunteers, we are collectively expanding an exemplary social movement that supports sustainable development.
Hope Takes Root Again in Fire Affected Areas
We primarily direct our sapling planting efforts to regions damaged by forest fires. In doing so, we help restore nature while reinforcing ecological awareness among our youth. At the ceremony we organized in Çekmeköy, our volunteer young people and foundation executives jointly placed the sign prepared for the Memorial Forest, crowning this shared legacy.
Every Sapling Is Hope for the Future
During the ceremony, our executives shared the following message: “By joining hands with our youth, we are working for the green homeland. Every sapling is a symbol of resilience in the fight against drought and a living legacy left for the future.”
Global Alignment in Sustainability
This approach, which brings together education and environmental awareness, is considered aligned with the sustainability criteria of international organizations such as the United Nations, the FAO, and the WWF. As TÜRGEV, we view the Memorial Forest as a beginning and aim to implement many more green projects under the leadership of our youth.
