An International Investment in Education in the U.S.: Our TURKEN Student Dormitory Opens Its Doors
At TÜRGEV, we continue to uphold our vision of serving youth not only within our country but also abroad. In line with this mission, our affiliate, the TURKEN Foundation, has completed the construction of a student dormitory in Manhattan, one of the most central locations in the United States, officially opening its doors on July 30, 2025. With this special project, we take pride in offering Turkish youth a safe, modern, and multifaceted living space.
A Fully Equipped Living Center with a Capacity of 204
Our New York dormitory consists of 80 apartments, accommodating a total of 204 students—102 female and 102 male. The facility includes 56 studio apartments, 22 two-bedroom units, and 2 one-bedroom units, all designed to suit both individual and social living.
More Than Accommodation—A Place for Growth
Our dormitory is not merely a residence; it has been designed as a living environment that supports the social, cultural, and academic development of our students. With shared kitchens, laundry facilities, individual and group study areas, a conference hall, prayer room, and gym, we offer our students a wide range of amenities. We ensure their peace of mind by maintaining the highest security standards with a 24/7 camera system and card access.
Neighbors to the World’s Most Prestigious Universities
Our dormitory stands out for its proximity to world-renowned institutions such as Columbia University, New York University (NYU), and Fordham University. While participating in various academic programs—such as master’s, doctoral, and language studies—our students also have the opportunity to build global social connections.

Through this project, carried out in partnership with the TURKEN Foundation, we contribute not only to our students’ academic success but also to their cultural and personal growth. From seminars and workshops to cultural events and personalized support programs, we offer a diverse range of activities for our students.
