As part of an Erasmus project coordinated by TÜRGEV, supported by the Turkish National Agency, and partnered with the City of Niš Basketball Association, we gathered in Niš with 30 Turkish and 20 Serbian participants.
Project participants received hands-on training in telling stories through the frames they captured with digital photography and in engaging with the local community in a non-formal learning environment. They explored the culture, history, and educational landscape of Niš.
Over the 14-day program, participants took part in a variety of training sessions, including PhotoVoice training and workshops, poster design and slogan creation workshops, and strategies for digital photography. They also had the chance to get to know the local community more closely through excursions and visits organized within the framework of the European Youth Strategy.
The project aimed to enhance participants’ storytelling skills using digital photography and their ability to interpret intercultural connections. At the end of the program, Youthpass certificates were presented to those who successfully completed the project.
