The TÜRGEV Traditional Iftar was held this year on Laylat al-Qadr, the most special night of Ramadan, with the gracious attendance of our President.
In our 28th year, we hosted our traditional iftar at Ibn Haldun University, which we founded. The event brought together all our stakeholders who have accompanied us on our 28-year journey, including students from our dormitories and GİF educational campuses, our foundation’s employees and volunteers, educators, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
The iftar program began with the supplication for the complete recitations of the Qur’an made by our hafizes, dedicated to the well-being of our Palestinian brothers and sisters. This was followed by an address from TÜRGEV Chairperson Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmanur Altun, who shared the journey of TÜRGEV since its establishment and thanked the participants for not leaving young people alone on this path.
Our founder and patron, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, then spoke about the issues TÜRGEV has sought to address since its inception and what it represents for the youth. He emphasized that he closely follows our foundation’s digital projects and underlined the importance of taking an active role as content creators in shaping the future of digital culture.
