The Türkiye Youth Summit, organized by the Türkiye Youth NGOs Platform (TGSP) to bring together youth NGO leaders, researchers, and youth policymakers, was held on July 12 at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center with the participation of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The summit began with speeches by TGSP President Ömer Faruk Terzi and Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, followed by sketches performed by the theater group Devriye.

In the final part, after our President’s speech emphasizing the importance of youth policies, the award ceremony took place.

In the TGZ Awards, presented by TGSP to encourage original, inspiring, and exemplary social entrepreneurship practices, our foundation was awarded first place with the “Cyberbullying Awareness Campaign” project.

Our Chairwoman, Dr. Fatmanur Altun, and project volunteer TÜRGEV student Kevser Atabaş received the award from our President and First Lady Emine Erdoğan.

In her statement, Dr. Fatmanur Altun said, “With our #StopBullying project, which we have been running for over a year, we had the opportunity to address one of the real issues of youth. This alone was already a reward, but having our project awarded first place at the Türkiye Youth Summit has been a great source of pride. We are happy.”
