The GİF’26 term has begun. Güzel İşler Fabrikası, operating under the umbrella of TÜRGEV, is launching a new sisterhood ecosystem in which young women are empowered through production, art, and volunteerism.
28 October 2025
The address of collective production, art, and volunteerism, the Güzel İşler Fabrikası (GİF), has made a strong start to its new term.
Launched under the theme GİF’26 Discover Develop Inspire, this new period guides young women on a journey of production, growth, and solidarity.
The introductory program held on Monday, 27 October, at the Rami Library in Eyupsultan, Istanbul, presented a powerful vision that inspires young people through culture, art, and volunteerism.
That day, we did not only begin a new term, but also opened a new chapter of a community that produces, shares, and grows through solidarity. In every corner of the hall, the voices of effort, art, and hope resonated.
At the launch program, we hosted the Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül, the Governor of Afyonkarahisar Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, AK Party MKYK Member Mahir Ünal, our Chair of the Board Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, our Board Member Dr. Esra Albayrak, and many distinguished guests. The hall became a powerful meeting point where hearts that believe in youth beat together.
We sincerely thank all our guests who stood with us on this meaningful day.
The strong bond formed at Rami Library once again reminded us of the essence of Güzel İşler Fabrikası. GİF is a meeting place where production, sharing, and volunteerism intersect.
On this journey we carry out under the umbrella of TÜRGEV, young women discover their potential and transform ideas into effort and effort into value. At every step, we build a ground where knowledge meets emotion and art meets social benefit.
We call this ground a community. Because here, there is not only learning, but also mutual empowerment, sharing, and a culture of solidarity. This community is also a sisterhood ecosystem where young women produce with confidence and grow together.
In the new term, through GİF’26, we are strengthening this ecosystem across Türkiye with programs focused on culture, art, music, and social impact at campuses nationwide. In every workshop and every gathering, we write new stories that touch the effort, aesthetics, and conscience of youth.
The first gathering of the new term began with the screening of the TÜRGEV and GİF promotional films. Our guests witnessed inspiring moments through a music recital by GİF students and an exhibition of works they produced with great dedication throughout the year.
Key areas of focus in the new term include:
• Talent development and production workshops
• Culture and art gatherings and exhibitions
• Volunteer projects and social impact initiatives
• Education and personal development programs
Each initiative will be part of a transformation story in which young women are empowered through production, nourished by art, and grow through volunteerism.
At the GİF’26 launch, Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül emphasized the importance of social and cultural opportunities offered to young people for the future of Türkiye. He stated that Istanbul has become not only an education center but also a safe and development oriented living space for youth:
“Students who choose Istanbul no longer face accommodation problems. With the support of KYK and civil society organizations, we have made significant progress in this area. It is very valuable that TÜRGEV guides young people not only through accommodation but also in culture, art, and volunteerism. Güzel İşler Fabrikası is a model initiative in this regard.”
Governor of Afyonkarahisar Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı drew attention to the power of women’s labor in social development:
“As our President frequently emphasizes, no work is complete without the touch of women. Production stories that began with women’s cooperatives continue successfully across Türkiye today. TÜRGEV’s more than thirty years of experience inspires the future of our young women.”
Our Chair of the Board Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz stated that we are welcoming a period that reactivates the effort and productive power of youth:
“The future of a society is shaped by the horizons of its young women. Every opportunity opened in the life of a young woman becomes a link in a transformation that spreads beyond the individual to her family, her community, her country, and the world.”
Emphasizing that GİF is not merely an educational space but a place where young women feel safe and grow stronger through sharing, Yılmaz continued:
“GİF is a living space where young women discover their potential and transform their production into social contribution. We call this space a community. Because here there is not only learning, but also mutual empowerment, sharing, and solidarity. GİF offers young women a safe community. We do not only show the way, we walk it together.”
She concluded her remarks by saying:
“Supporting young women means building the future of Türkiye together. The dream of every young woman is the hope of this country.”
Our Board Member Dr. Esra Albayrak shared the founding story and value centered approach of GİF:
“When we established GİF two years ago, we wanted to remember something. We still believe that goodness is the most virtuous choice. Despite all artificial intelligence algorithms, we believe that human beings are still the main actors in social transformation. We wanted to keep this belief alive and reproduce it together with young people. GİF emerged as a community that brings together those who share this belief.”
Highlighting the meaning behind the name GİF, Dr. Albayrak said:
“GİF means moving image. Behind this name lies the energy of youth, the search for change, and the desire to multiply goodness. Here, every young person contributes to society while discovering herself. What they produce becomes not just a work, but a call for goodness and a production of values.”
She concluded her remarks by addressing young women:
“Every young woman gathered here today is an actor shaping the culture, art, and conscience of tomorrow. GİFs will continue to grow, produce, and inspire with this awareness.”
The program concluded with a panel by GİF students, an exhibition tour, and the large GİF family photo. That moment was etched into memory as a symbol not only of an event, but of growing together through production, sharing, and solidarity.
In the new term, Güzel İşler Fabrikası will continue to be the voice of producing young women, a meeting point for volunteerism, and a source of inspiration for value based development.
With the new term, GİF’26 focuses on the following goals to support the production journeys of young women:
• Providing young women with production oriented skills
• Developing awareness in culture art and social responsibility
• Strengthening solidarity based sisterhood culture
• Increasing the social visibility of young women
Each goal is part of a shared vision that guides youth effort, production, and value based development.
