GİF Volunteer Camp ’25 Kicks Off at Ibn Haldun University

GİF Volunteer Camp ’25, organized by TÜRGEV to strengthen its youth volunteer network and support students who will participate in volunteer activities at its campuses, has started at Ibn Haldun University.

This year’s camp brings together university students from cities with GİF campuses, providing an opportunity to learn more about volunteerism and gain skills applicable in the field. Held from August 4 to 10, the program includes sessions on content production, project and event management, and mobile video-photography techniques, as well as visits to various locations in Istanbul.

During the camp, students will participate in sessions led by professionals in areas such as editing, communication, project development, and media literacy.

Workshops and training sessions throughout the program are designed to support participants’ individual development and prepare them for their future volunteer responsibilities at the campuses. New members of the GİF volunteer network will complete the camp by preparing personal work plans and will begin taking active roles at TÜRGEV campuses.

A total of 40 participants are attending GİF Volunteer Camp ’25, contributing to the development of a structured and effective volunteerism model.
