One of the young talents supported by TÜRGEV, Zeynep Hilal Karademir, a second-year student in the Carpet Design Department at Gaziantep University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, has achieved remarkable success. She was awarded third place in the “Design and Weave Machine-Made Carpet Design Competition,” organized in collaboration between the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Association and Gaziantep University, inspiring us all with her dedication and talent.
Held for the 10th time this year, the competition is considered one of Turkey’s most prestigious events in the field of carpet design, offering young designers a strong start to their careers.
"Zenith: Ups and Downs" – A Story Turning Contrasts into Art
Karademir’s award-winning design, "Zenith: Ups and Downs", draws inspiration from the connection between nature and humanity, blending the contrasts, highs, and lows of life into a unique artistic expression. The design reflects both inner emotions and the rhythm of life, offering an original perspective that translates them into carpet art.
With this meaningful work, Karademir not only won the jury’s admiration but also highlighted once again the value of TÜRGEV’s support in helping young people discover and develop their potential.
