Inspiring the Future with Our Hafizes

Our Hafiz Certificate Presentation Ceremony, held for students in our Qur’an memorization programs, took place on Tuesday, May 20, at our Istanbul Kartal Hayriye Cemal Gülbaran Girls’ Dormitory.

Our Chair of the Board, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, and Istanbul Deputy Mufti Ahmet Aktürkoğlu honored the program with their presence and delivered the opening speeches. Before the ceremony, guests visited our special photo exhibition themed “Hafiz Training in Gaza”, embarking on a meaningful visual journey.

Supporting Our Hafizes with Three Different Scholarships
As of today, we provide accommodation and educational support to 180 hafiz students. We stand beside them throughout their memorization journey with three different scholarship programs at the secondary, higher education, and undergraduate levels. With this support, our students earn their officially recognized hafiz certificates, approved by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.

“A True Hafiz is One Who Adorns Their Character with the Qur’an”
In her speech, our Chair of the Board, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, emphasized that the hafiz certificate is not only a symbol of achievement, but also of devotion and a sacred pledge:

“The hafiz certificate you will receive today is a testament to a trust, a submission, and a pledge. Remember, a true hafiz is not only one who memorizes the Qur’an, but one who thinks with it and lives by its morals.”

She also acknowledged the year-round seminars and motivation camps organized by our Hafiz Education Coordination Office, extending her thanks to our Hafiz Education Coordinator, Sümeyye Topal, and the entire education team.

Always by Their Side on the Qur’an Journey
We continue to stand beside our young hafizes on this blessed journey with the Qur’an, ensuring they know they are never alone and supporting them in building a future enriched with knowledge and wisdom.
