The details of our new project, the Factory of Fine Works (GİF), initiated by the Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation (TÜRGEV), have been introduced.

As the Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation (TÜRGEV), we held the launch of our new project, the Factory of Fine Works (GİF), with the slogan #GençlerinHareketAlanı last night.
At the introductory event for our new youth spaces project, named the Factory of Fine Works (GİF), we came together with many prominent figures from the worlds of politics, culture, art, cinema, and media, as well as our students and friends.
The story of the GİF project which was launched to provide young people with a free, accessible, and comfortable study environment and to meet the demand for out-of-home study spaces was shared with our guests through a presentation by our Chairperson, Fatmanur Altun.
Beginning her presentation with introductory films, our Chairperson emphasized that GİF was built not just as a space but on the idea of building connections:
“We want young people to come together sometimes in spaces, sometimes in events. The Factory of Fine Works exists to give them this opportunity.”
Highlighting that in an age where information is easily accessible, the aim is not merely to teach but to see young people as active participants in the field, she added:
“We want to offer young people the opportunity to be a community, to find each other. We want them to be part of a network that starts locally and expands nationally, but we want them to build it themselves. In other words, we want them to form small communities, bring those together, and find themselves as part of a neighborhood.”
With GİF, we aim to create study and activity centers across Türkiye where students can work in safety and comfort, while also offering physical and technical resources for academic, professional, or personal projects.
Currently, the Factory of Fine Works operates in four locations GİF Ankara, GİF Safveti Paşa, GİF Vezneciler, and GİF Silopi serving high school, university, graduate, and doctoral students as study and activity centers that provide basic resources and educational support.
Our goal with GİF is to bring students across Türkiye together in spaces where they can safely and comfortably benefit, form communities, and feel part of a refined and welcoming environment.
