As the TÜRGEV family, we once again experienced the excitement of the Factory of Fine Works (GIF) Spring Gatherings, bringing together our young participants, instructors, and visitors this year!

From May 25–27, at our GIF Safveti Paşa Campus, we welcomed participants of all ages to take part as both observers and creators under the theme “Discover, Experience, Learn.” Alongside an exhibition of works produced at GIF, we featured performances by young talents, hosted talks, and held a variety of workshops where everyone could create together.
GIF Spring Gatherings ’25 at Safveti Paşa
In the second edition of our program, workshops in felt-making, punch needle, woodblock printing, marbling (ebru), and watercolor attracted strong interest from young participants. Talk sessions brought together our Chair of the Board, Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, with Burcu Birinci, Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Nazan Yalçınkaya, Duygu Orak, and Yasemin Darbaz Karaca to discuss subjects including art, entrepreneurship, architecture, and intellectual production.
On the final day, architect and curator Yasemin Darbaz Karaca joined a session titled “An Interdisciplinary Perspective: Art, Architecture, Fiction” moderated by our Chair of the Board, Attorney Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz. The program concluded with a piano performance by young participants.
