Students Organize Charity Bazaar for Yemen
In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the civil war ongoing since 2015, students from 36 TÜRGEV dormitories organized charity bazaars to support the people of Yemen.
The bazaars, which received enthusiastic participation from students, featured a variety of items for sale, including food products, handicrafts, decorative items made by students, and dry legumes. All students contributed to the effort, showing solidarity with their Yemeni brothers and sisters.
Sharing their feelings, the students said:
“There are many people in need living there. We wanted to support them, so we organized this bazaar to do what we could to help.”
Proceeds from the bazaars held across the 36 dormitories were sent to Yemen through aid organizations, ensuring that the support reached those most in need.
