This year, under the motto “The more we read, the more we grow, change, and renew ourselves”, TÜRGEV participated in the 6th International CNR Book Fair.
Held between March 9–17, the fair featured talks designed around young people’s career goals, current questions, and pressing issues. Expert guests engaged with the youth, offering enriching perspectives. On the first day, Yeşilay educator Ömer Faruk Bozdoğan shared key insights on one of today’s most significant challenges, technology addiction. Dr. Orkun Yaycılı’s session on Speed Reading with Comprehension introduced techniques for faster reading and better understanding, encouraging a sustainable and enjoyable reading habit.
Film director and critic Abdulhamit Güler discussed the contributions of fine arts to human development in A Conversation on Cinema. Young author Fatih Baha Aydın inspired attendees to read and write through an engaging dialogue centered on his book Bihaber. Finally, TÜRGEV Board Member Dr. Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı presented her academic work on her book Children’s Publications and Outreach.
The fair drew a large crowd of book lovers and students. TÜRGEV Chairwoman Dr. Fatmanur Altun met with young participants, offering valuable advice on career planning. Highlighting the importance of learning foreign languages, she concluded her session by signing books and taking commemorative photos with attendees.
