The GİF Orchestra, formed within the Factory of Fine Works (GİF) and led by conductor Nurdan Yenigün, has given its first concert. Established in May 2023, the orchestra had been rehearsing at our Vezneciler campus in preparation for this debut performance, and finally met its audience.
Held exclusively for women at the 1071 Congress and Event Hall, the concert drew an audience of approximately 1,500 people. Before the performance began, our Chairperson, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmanur Altun, addressed the audience, expressing her commitment to always supporting young people in the field of fine arts.
The performance by the GİF Women’s Orchestra, under the baton of Nurdan Yenigün, was met with great enthusiasm. The GİF Orchestra will continue its work within the Factory of Fine Works.
