The preparatory meeting for the Nature Brotherhood Project was held in Söke, Aydın.
Coordinated by the Söke District Directorate of National Education, this Erasmus+ project’s initial meeting addressed the project’s main objectives, the training sessions to be organized, technical visits to be carried out, and the expected outcomes.
Through mobility programs to be held in Türkiye, Greece, and France, the project aims to develop alternative methods for environmental education. Participants will use the knowledge and skills they acquire in STEAM, coding, and interdisciplinary training to contribute to creating new learning environments for environmental education. Beyond developing a curriculum for the “green schools” targeted in the project, participants will also be responsible for fostering a more environmentally conscious society and finding solutions to environmental issues.
Although the project is scheduled to conclude in June 2024, its achievements and outcomes are expected to be discussed, implemented, and further developed in our country for many years to come.
