As part of the Türkiye mobility of our European Psychology Collaboration Erasmus project, we spent seven days with our participants from the Netherlands.
Our project participants visited institutions such as the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Istanbul University, the Green Crescent Society Headquarters, Üsküdar Special Education Vocational School, and the Darülaceze Foundation Presidency, and had the opportunity to explore Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula.
On the final day of the project, during their visit to the Darülaceze Presidency, our guests from the Netherlands learned about the foundation’s history and its ongoing work.
Gaining a closer understanding of mental health practices and the culture of charitable foundations in Ottoman civilization, our participants received their certificates from our Chairperson, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmanur Altun.
