Organized by TÜRGEV, the short story and narrative competition themed "Writing Palestine as Truth Activism" allowed students to voice the reality of Palestine through literary expression.
Winners of the “Writing Palestine as Truth Activism” Competition Announced
Held at the Ankara Hümeyra Ökten Higher Education Girls’ Dormitory, the jury included journalist and author Sibel Eraslan, researcher and author Emine Çınar, and communication expert and author Betül Şatır. Former Minister of Family and Social Policies Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk also attended as a guest speaker and addressed the students.
Following strong interest in the competition, the students who placed Melike Şimşek, Gülsüm Ayşe Aydın, and Sümeyyenur Küçüktoka received their awards from the jury members.
All participants were thanked for their efforts and awareness, and small gifts were presented to them.
TÜRGEV will continue to support young people who use their writing in the service of truth.
