TÜRGEV Student Dormitories at the Service of Healthcare Workers
As part of efforts to support the dedicated work carried out under coronavirus measures, the Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation (TÜRGEV) has allocated a total of six student dormitories in Istanbul, Ankara, Kocaeli, and Gaziantep for the use of healthcare personnel.
Healthcare workers in various cities across the country, who have been working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19, will be able to benefit from the facilities of the Kağıthane Higher Education, Kartal Hayriye Cemal Gülbaran Secondary Education, Ümraniye Şule Yüksel Şenler Higher Education, Ankara Hümeyra Ökten Higher Education, Kocaeli Higher Education, and Gaziantep Hatice Hatun Higher Education Girls’ Dormitories, all located in close proximity to the hospitals where they serve.
TÜRGEV Chairwoman of the Board Fatmanur Altun stated:
“As TÜRGEV, we have opened our dormitories to the use of our healthcare workers. If we can contribute, even in a small way, to their challenging struggle and help ease their burden, we are grateful. We will always stand by our healthcare workers and our nation.”
Speaking about the allocation, Kağıthane District Governor Hasan Göç remarked:
“One of our top priorities is to ensure the comfort of our healthcare personnel, who are working tirelessly day and night due to the coronavirus outbreak, and to meet their needs. I would also like to thank the TÜRGEV administrators for their support in this matter.”
