TÜRGEV Wind at MÜSİAD EXPO 2024

Organized by the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD), MÜSİAD EXPO 2024 International Trade Fair, one of the major events in the business world, brought together industry professionals through a comprehensive program.

As the TÜRGEV family, we took part in the fair, which was visited by thousands, with talks, a woodworking workshop, and a VR headset-enabled digital exhibition experience. Guests at our stand included TÜRGEV Chairwoman of the Board Av. Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz, TÜRGEV Board Member Burcu Birinci, Foundation Council Member Architect Mehmet Fehmi Bilge, Foundation Council Member Dr. Lecturer Melike Günyüz, TÜRGEV General Manager Makbule Çabuk, Av. Dr. Ali Göksu, Author Betül Soysal Bozdoğan, Producer-Author Abdullah Kibritçi, Director Muhammet Erkam Bülbül, and Art Director Nurdan Kesim.

Important Statements from TÜRGEV Chairwoman Av. Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz

Answering questions from an AA reporter at the fair, Av. Hatice Akıncı Yılmaz stated that they work to help children and young people develop a vision, emphasizing that the fair was a perfect match for this purpose. She noted that students were able to establish connections with the private sector during the event, saying, “They have the opportunity to build a qualified network, a communication web. In this regard, the fair makes a significant contribution.”

“There is remarkable interest”

Highlighting that their booth was a cheerful and content-rich platform, Ms. Yılmaz said, “We have the opportunity to tour the works produced in our GIFs through a digital exhibition with VR glasses, and we launched a digital kindness point project here to make it easier for visitors from the private sector to make donations. We chose this as a pilot point. They can easily make donations in their preferred categories through a digital stand. To broaden the artistic aspect, we have various workshops. There is remarkable interest.”

Pointing out that the MÜSİAD EXPO Fair has created a broad international communication network, Ms. Yılmaz stated, “This is very valuable. The participation of different sectors and their communication with each other will undoubtedly expand the business volume. We also see that various digital opportunities are offered here, which allows for reaching a wider audience. I find this very valuable from the perspective of the private sector.”

“It creates synergy at the international level”

She noted that the participation of different international companies in the fair is of great importance for promoting Turkey and that such fairs create synergy at the international level. Ms. Yılmaz explained that they participated in the fair to promote the foundation, saying, “It is very important for companies, both at the national and international level, to develop social responsibility projects. We are working to create a vision in this regard. Especially, it is valuable for us that our companies in Turkey move to the next stage. It is meaningful for them to turn these social responsibility projects into their own policy and strategy. In this respect, we are doing our best at the fair to contribute. Hopefully, in the future, these efforts will make an impact, and we will see more NGOs and civil society organizations here, with greater interest from the private sector.”

“We strive to support young people building the future”

TÜRGEV Vice Chairwoman Burcu Birinci also stated that they are a foundation established to ensure that young women can receive education without concerns for safety or financial difficulties and to add quality to this education.

She emphasized that they prepare young people for the future through value-based education, social responsibility projects, and educational activities, adding, “We strive to support young people who play a role in building the future. We try to progress together with them. Here, we believe that we act as a bridge connecting our young people, who have received this value-based education, with the business world. Through the training we provide in the fields of career, leadership, and entrepreneurship, and through what we build together, we make every effort to help them take their place in the business world and contribute to this golden generation. Here, we connect them with our companies and help them develop their future-oriented vision.”
