Since its establishment in 2013, what began as a vision has grown into one of Türkiye's most enduring models for women's Qur'anic education — built not on ambition alone, but on patience, dedication, and a deep sense of trust in what is being carried.
The TURGEV Women's Hifz Support Program is a comprehensive educational model designed for young women who are actively memorizing the Qur'an or have already completed their hifz. It brings together financial scholarships, secure dormitory accommodation, academic planning, and individual mentorship under one roof — so that nothing stands between a student and her commitment to the Qur'an.
The program's goal extends beyond memorization. It aims to raise young women who are grounded in knowledge, shaped by character, and guided by a sense of purpose — students who carry the Qur'an not only in memory, but in the way they live. In January 2025, TURGEV held its annual Hifz Camp — a dedicated space for students to step away from the pace of academic life and reconnect with their memorization. Esma Nur Dönmez, one of the participants, shared her experience:
"Having a camp like this in the middle of the school rush really lifts our motivation. Being able to revise my hifz makes me feel so good."

The program operates under the coordination of the Hifz Education Unit, which ensures every student follows a personalized and supervised learning plan. Students residing in TURGEV dormitories attend morning and evening study sessions, maintaining consistent progress in their memorization while continuing their formal university education. With one of the few structured Qur'an memorization scholarship programs for women in Türkiye, TURGEV offers a model that is both academically rigorous and spiritually grounded.
The hifz journey is structured across three progressive stages, each designed to strengthen memorization, deepen retention, and build long-term consistency. Students who successfully complete the process are guided through obtaining the official Hafiz Certificate issued by the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı) — formal recognition of a lifelong achievement.

Throughout Ramadan 2026, TURGEV hosts a 29-day online mukabele program in which female hafiz students take an active role in collective Qur'an recitation. The program runs daily — Fridays from 11:00–12:00, all other days from 12:00–13:00 — and is open to TURGEV students, staff, and members of the public.
