As TÜRGEV, the founder of TURKEN Foundation, the “TURKEN Youth Bridges 2019” Summer Education Program has begun.
This year, the program is being held for the third time, with three separate groups planned to visit Turkey in July. The visits of the “TURKEN Youth Bridges” participants to our country have started. The meet-and-greet event with Muslim students from the United States took place with the participation of our General Manager Oktay Altındiş, General Assembly Members Doruk Malhan, Fehmi Bilge, and the students.
The eight-day intensive training and activity program aims to introduce Muslim students studying at universities in the United States to Turkish culture, increase intercultural interaction, inform students about educational opportunities in Turkey, and promote a culture of cooperation among Muslim youth.
Within the scope of the project, the students hosted in Turkey meet with prominent figures and academics in the country.
The TURKEN Youth Bridges program is not limited to these activities. Approximately 150 students will have the opportunity to closely experience Turkey’s historical and cultural heritage throughout July. In this context, visits will be organized to major cities in Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara, Konya, and the Cappadocia region.
