We Ran in the 40th Istanbul Marathon
On Sunday, November 11, TÜRGEV participated in the 40th Istanbul Marathon, organized by Spor İstanbul, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, under the slogan “Run Istanbul for a Healthy Tomorrow.” The marathon is a unique event connecting two continents.
This year’s marathon brought together around 130,000 participants from 100 countries. Our Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Fatmanur Altun, joined our students in the run. Together, we walked for health alongside hundreds of people of all ages, enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Istanbul while embracing the spirit of sports.
Reflecting on the experience, Dr. Altun stated:
“In the 40th Istanbul Marathon, we walked together with our students on the bridge that connects two continents and became a symbol on July 15. We completed our walk with a sense of awareness for our city, sensitivity toward healthy living, and above all, loyalty to the spirit of July 15.”
The event boosted the morale and motivation of our students and concluded with commemorative photos capturing the memorable day.
