From October 18–21, we participated in the Diyarbakır Youth Festival at Diyarbakır City Square, where we hosted our own booth. Organized to bring the region’s youth together through art, sports, and entertainment, the festival featured exhibitions, digital games, sports tournaments, and competitions, along with talks and educational sessions.

We Took Part in the Diyarbakır Youth Festival!
From October 18–21, we participated in the Diyarbakır Youth Festival at Diyarbakır City Square, where we hosted our own booth. Organized to bring the region’s youth together through art, sports, and entertainment, the festival featured exhibitions, digital games, sports tournaments, and competitions, along with talks and educational sessions.
At the TÜRGEV booth, we held interactive workshops, set up a “dream tree” where visitors could write their aspirations, and offered various activities and gifts to festival attendees.
Our Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Fatmanur Altun, visited the booth and also stopped by TÜRGEV Diyarbakır Sırrı Hanım Higher Education Girls’ Dormitory. There, she met with our students, got to know them personally, and discussed their career plans as well as the foundation’s ongoing work. She also toured the dormitory and observed the creative projects students had completed in their workshops.
Dr. Altun joined our students for a breakfast gathering at Diyarbakır Gazi Mansion, followed by a visit to the historic Ten-Eyed Bridge. At the bridge, she took part in a student-led book reading event aimed at raising awareness, and concluded the day with commemorative photos alongside the students.
