Reyyan Çifci, a student residing at TÜRGEV Kartal Hayriye Cemal Gülbaran Secondary Education Girls’ Dormitory and studying at Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, achieved remarkable success at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)—one of the world’s most prestigious science competitions held in Los Angeles, USA. Competing against thousands of students from over 80 countries, Reyyan proudly represented Türkiye, earning fourth place worldwide in the field of genetics with her innovative project.

Her project, recognized by the jury for its scientific depth, solution-oriented vision, and innovative approach, stands as both a personal triumph and a testament to the global competitiveness of young scientists from Türkiye. With this innovation, doctors and nurses can monitor the healing process via sensors without reopening the wound.
