For 25 years, through our work in the field of education and the thousands of qualified young people we have nurtured, TÜRGEV has created a climate of hope for our future. With the saplings we plant as donations, we strive to dedicate fresh breaths to our country’s forests and to the entire world.
In today’s world, where the importance of environmental awareness is increasing every day, we continue to take steps that raise awareness by carrying out projects that remind us of our responsibility toward nature.
This year, the sapling planting—postponed due to the pandemic—was carried out in coordination with the Istanbul and Hatay Regional Directorates of Forestry. A total of 2,178 saplings were planted: 1,178 in Istanbul and 1,000 in Hatay, through the coordination of the regional directorates.
Our General Manager, Oktay Altındiş, visited the Istanbul Regional Directorate of Forestry, where Istanbul Regional Director of Forestry, Yusuf Şahin, presented TÜRGEV with a certificate of appreciation for the contribution these sapling donations make to the hope for a greener future.
