He was born in 1996 in Fatih, Istanbul. He completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Law in 2018. Selman practices as a lawyer and has also served as an athlete in the Turkish National Karate Team, where he earned the title of World Karate Champion.
Throughout his sports career, Selman participated in over a hundred tournaments at both club and national team levels. He became champion at the 2013 World Junior Karate Championship, won second place at the 2010 European Club Karate Championship, and claimed the championship at the 2017 Inter-University Karate Championship. He is a member of the Association of Jurists and is currently a student of memorization of the Qur'an.
He served as a Full Member of the Provincial Executive Board in the 5th Term of the AK Party Youth Branch and as a Full Member of the Provincial Executive Board in the 6th Term. At the 7th Ordinary Provincial Congress held on February 24, 2021, Selman was elected to the Provincial Disciplinary Board. He is married.
