As part of the From the Lens to the Niš Serbia Youth Exchange Project, we were in Niš.
Under the coordination of TÜRGEV, with the support of the National Agency and in partnership with the City of Niš Basketball Association, we came together in Niš with 30 Turkish and 20 Serbian participants as part of the Erasmus+ project.
The project participants received hands-on training on telling stories through the frames they captured with digital photography and engaging with the local community in a non-formal learning environment. They also explored Niš’s culture, history, and non-formal learning atmosphere.
During the 14-day project, various trainings were provided, including a PhotoVoice workshop, poster design and slogan creation workshop, and digital photography strategies. Students had the opportunity to get to know the local people closely and took part in trips and visits organized within the framework of the European Youth Strategy.
Aiming to improve participants’ storytelling skills through digital photography and their ability to interpret intercultural connections, the project concluded with the presentation of Youthpass certificates to those who successfully completed the program.
