To provide learning environments that nurture the artistic, intellectual, and social development of young people, we launched the Factory of Fine Works (Güzel İşler Fabrikası – GIF) Summer School. This year, the program welcomes young girls for the second time. Running from July 1 to August 1, GIF Summer School ’25 aims to offer our middle and high school students another summer filled with enriching experiences.

Our summer school has been specially designed to cater to different age groups. Middle school students attend classes and workshops four days a week at our GIF Safveti Paşa campus, while high school students participate at our GIF Vezneciler campus. Both groups join activities led by experts between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
In this year’s GIF Summer School, young participants engage in a rich program shaped by art, ideas, and values:
Arts and Crafts: Wooden block printing, collage, Islamic geometric patterns, culinary workshops, and handmade paper projects.
Literature and Writing: Developing a refined reading culture, meeting authors, and gaining first-hand writing experience.
Philosophy and Social Development: Enhancing critical thinking skills and embarking on personal discovery journeys.
Values Education and Social Engagement: Strengthening the spirit of volunteerism while improving courtesy and communication skills.
History and Civilizational Awareness: Gaining historical perspective through visits to the Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam and attending lectures on Jerusalem.
We see the GIF Summer School not merely as a summer program, but as an inspiring learning environment where young people can develop themselves in a well-rounded way. Our goal is to enhance each participant’s aesthetic sensitivity, support values-based thinking, and promote a culture of collaborative creation.
This summer, we are once again nurturing the dreams, ideas, and talents of our young participants—because we believe that those who create together today are the ones who will build the future.
