The program, jointly organized by the Ibn Haldun University Center for Continuing Education and Research (IHSEM) and TÜRGEV, offers training opportunities for prospective administrators of accommodation centers operating under the Ministry of National Education.
Dormitory administrators participating in the program received 130 hours of training covering topics such as legislation, management, nutrition and accommodation services, security, protocol and correspondence rules, the e-dormitory module, professional development, etiquette and ethics, as well as issues related to children, adolescents, youth, and families, aiming to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in these areas.
Yurdagül Kayabaşı, Director of the TÜRGEV Bahçelievler Higher Education Dormitory, stated that through this training, they gained full knowledge of all the regulations to be implemented by the Ministry of National Education, starting from legislation. She emphasized that IHSEM experts provided a comprehensive program, ensuring a productive training process, and noted that such training reinforced their awareness of the significance, scope, and responsibilities involved in accommodation services.
Utilizing teaching methods and techniques such as lectures, problem-solving, Q&A, and experiential learning, the program awarded the participants who successfully completed the course with the “Student Accommodation Services Expertise Certificate.”
The “Student Accommodation Services Management Certificate Program” will continue at certain intervals in collaboration between TÜRGEV and Ibn Haldun University.
