The TÜRGEV Platform Studies Camp kicked off once again this year with a rich training program designed to help platform presidents make a strong start to the new term. The main aim of the camp is to equip participants with the leadership, communication, and technical skills necessary for their year-long responsibilities in the dormitories.
In the first stage of the camp, students take part in volunteerism training and practice workshops. These sessions aim to instill an awareness of the responsibilities they will carry out entirely on a voluntary basis throughout the year, reinforcing the culture of volunteerism.
To strengthen management skills, leadership and effective management workshops include case studies that help participants develop the right responses to potential crisis scenarios.
Focusing on both internal and external communication, these sessions help participants recognize their own communication styles and practice how to adapt them when necessary through interactive exercises.
Under the theme of New Generation Application Use, technical training is provided to facilitate the presidents’ work during the year, including:
Office programs training
Basic Canva usage
Preparing Gantt charts in Excel
These sessions ensure participants gain strong competence in both management and digital skills.
The TÜRGEV Platform Studies Camp ultimately aims to prepare the leaders of tomorrow by equipping them not only with the spirit of volunteerism but also with the professional skills they need for the future.
